"We were a table of six and as the sun was shining ate outside on the terrace with lovely views of Lyme bay. Staff were welcoming and service was prompt and very efficient. Two of our party had the smoked haddock risotto which was excellent and the remainder had the banquettes with various fillings of which the only downside preventing this establishment from a 5 star review was the offered hit pork baquettes were not hit not even warm which was disappointing otherwise an excellent lunch in an enviable location!"

A nice old hotel tucked away above Chesil Beach. Great food and very friendly and helpful staff, nothing was too much trouble. Plenty of parking too.

Ate here today and was very pleasant for my friends and I. The food was enjoyed by everyone. There was a tasty soup on the menu today that was vegan friendly.

The restaurant was small and disappointing. The baked croutons were dry and overly crumbly, almost like the filling was just crumbs. At £17, the chips, salad, and filling were not up to par. However, the overall flavor was good. Ver carta

The meal was of very poor quality and took an hour to arrive. I ordered a fish cake, but it turned out to be a potato soup with a few pieces of fish in it. The burger was overcooked. I would highly recommend avoiding this restaurant.

Another excellent experience at this hotel that we've been visiting regularly for over twenty years; the rooms are clean, comfortable and well-appointed; staff are friendly and helpful; breakfast menu extensive and good selection of dishes served in the cosy cellar bar in the evening; overall a most enjoyable stay and good value for money.
