Great place. Really friendly and great food. Lots of choice for breakfast. Staff were very chatty and happy for us to take time to decide. Food was excellent. We will definitely visit again.

Excellent meal and service, the restaurant was very busy with Xmas parties but the staff really looked after us and even sung happy birthday to my rather embarrassed 21 year old son. Highly recommended especially the spare ribs.

A lovely neighbourhood pub/cafe/restaurant in Mumbles that has a good breakfast and all day menu. The service was super friendly and as visitors were made very welcome indeed. We had breakfast and dinner and had we stayed in Mumbles longer would no doubt have returned again. Ver carta

Thursday night family meal at this lovely restaurant. Great ambience and superb staff, with delicious food. Very generous portions which sadly left little space for dessert. Highly recommended. The staff couldn’t have been more attentive superb work by Stewart, Terry, Simon and especially Kirsty. Many thanks. Looking forward to our next visit.

Welcoming and dog friendly, superb staff especially Katie, our waitress, who gave 100% service with a smile and confidence, if she didn’t know the answer she went to find it out. The staff even realised we were celebrating a Birthday and came out with a “cake” and candles whilst singing Happy Birthday! Food was good, lovely starters and the beef from the festive menu was cooked to perfection. Recommend

Two lovely visits to this great venue staffed with some of the most friendly and engaging people we have had the pleasure of being looked after by in a long time A delicious supper and and quality breakfast were our two experiences, great kitchen serving great food, just what we wanted. We were so well looked after as was Poppy the Beagle, completely dog-friendly which isn’t all that common in The Mumbles. Really well priced as well, so all in all…we couldn’t recommend this wonderful place more highly. Ver carta

i wanted to say a big THANK YOU for the incredibly special Santa breakfast we had with you this morning. The snow machine, the xmas children drawing activities, beautiful decorations, festive music, helpful elves, Santa and the children s gifts, the lovely staff and the delicious breakfast for us all including my yummy vegan breakfast, my son s veggie breakfast and all the food drinks (great coffee! for our party of 8. Had the festive menu today for a Xmas lunch out with friends. The food was absolutely delicious. 3 of us had different starters Prawn Cocktail, Pate and Smoked Salmon Bellinis all of which were fab and very well presented. All 4 of us went for the Roast Turkey which was served as a stack on a bed of mash and roast parsnip on the side. Veg came separately along with beautiful gravy! It was all very very tasty! Only 1 of us had room for a dessert which was a really nice Xmas pudding. The service was great and the staff very friendly! Would definitely recommend a try you won’t be disappointed!

Absolutely fantastic meal once again this year, couldn’t recommend the Mermaid enough. Our table keeps getting bigger each year and the staff and management always welcomes us with a friendly smile. It’s never easy dealing with large parties and this year we were 15, a highchair and the dog. Everyone was serviced with drinks and as soon as a glass was empty there was a waitress ready to get you another. Everyone’s food arrived simultaneously along with those of us that opted for the carvery. There’s not many places these days that serve lamb as an option but the chef told us it’s every week at the mermaid. Kirsty who looked after our table was amazing, she was so helpful and friendly and not... Ver carta
