Stayed at the Merry Harriers, at one of the cottage, it was a little slice of heaven. The food was excellent, had breakfast dinner. The staff were so friendly, we oved it will be going back!

Came here for lunch to celebrate a 60th wedding anniversary. Its a lovely country pub. Food is really good. And unusual to find a pub with such good choice for vegetarians. Wish it was closer to home.

Superb pub. Very friendly landlord, excellent food (Sea Bass cooked to perfection, Hunter's Chicken Burger excellent, and Chocolate Bread Pudding and Ice Cream to die for!! . Good atmosphere, reasonable prices, great service. Will definitely visit again. Ver carta

And was amazed that they had room for us! Beautiful view lovely garden AND fantastic Sunday roast. The service was great, patient as there was 7 of us who couldn’t decide! Roasts were superb, huge portions! Burger good and the vegetarian options good. Lovely lunch.

that was our next pub where we had parked our home and what a pleasant surprise it was. we have removed a few miles so we walked there through the most beautiful saturated wooden of the bluebells in sussex. at the arrival we were greeted by the renter who led us out for drinks while we expected our booking for Sunday dinner. my wife and I chose both the frying pig I have to say was perfectly cooked. the sweet was just the right texture, the yorkshire puddings house made and service was provided with a friendly smile. the pub itself had cuckoos of medievial character and is set in a beautiful village. highly recommended and we will definitely return.

Recently we had a family meal for 30 at the merrie harriers. james and his employees delivered us an amazing frying and either berry crumbs or chocolate powder brownie. they ensured that a few nutritional requirements were efficiently covered. eating quickly came out, hot with mass of gravity (as desired) to an excellent standard and was much enjoyed. we had the garden space that worked well. james was very simple, with and very helpful, in making all arrangements. we had a sunday before and roast the evening before our big event, my wife and I had an amazing seabass on a chorizo/Kartato basis, which was very tasty. when we are back in sussex, we will return definitiw. thank you, james Ver carta
