We went to this restaurant for a family birthday meal and unfortunately, the staff was very rude. They kept staring at us and then accused one of our family members of hitting their car, even though it wasn't true.

We have recently moved to the area and have been on the hunt for a good carvery for several months. A friend at work reccommended The Merry Monk. There were of us in the party including my daughter who is wheat intolerant. We all ordered the carvery, which was absolutely delicious. My daughter usually struggles with a carvery to fill her plate because she can't have Yorkshires or Stuffing but not at this carvery. There were several choices of potaoto, including delicious Dauphinois and really crispy roasties, which were clearly home made.
