The Milk House - Carta

Came across this place whilst travelling back to ASHFORD. We ate here and really enjoyed our meals. Not a bad price in keeping with other places. Staff were very helpful and polite.

Lovely food in a pretty pub environment but the surly service and cold dining room let this dinner down. I've been three times now and had the same experience so it's sadly not a one off.

Lovely views in a beautiful pub garden. Duck pond and woodfire pizza oven. Staff friendly and helpful. Pizzas are absolutely delicious. Fresh made with great ingredients and generous toppings. Vegan pizza to top it all for my daughter. Look forward to returning when we stay with you.

We stayed in the Byre room at The Milk House. The room has a fantastic 'ball and claw ', stand alone bath big enough for two people ; . The room was very spacious. The staff were very accommodating and dinner we had was very good. A comprehensive breakfast meant that we could skip lunch. I certainly recommend The Milk House Ver carta

Visited with a group of 16 language students with only a day's notice and everything was fantastic. Not only was my answer phone message about our visit replied to, (so many times it's just ignored) but we had a fantastic table laid out for us, everyone was dealt with really quickly at the bar and the grazing snacks we ordered were brought out super fast. A great cultural experience for my students and all done with smiles. Will definitely be putting this pub on future itineraries.

We stayed in two beautiful rooms as very close to Benenden hospital for my daughter's surgery. The rooms were quiet, full of character and the beds so comfy. The tea tray a lovely addition. Most welcome to a stressful couple of days. The staff went above and beyond to help my daughter with her food and even supplying cushions on chairs. The breakfast fresh, quality ingredients and very plentiful in the lovely dining room. This charactful pub hotel is charming. A wonderful find that we will return to soon for another stay.

Really want this pub to be good, but every time we try the food is terrible. I know the pizzas and burgers are popular but the al a carte menu just never delivers. I suspect the kitchen staff aren’t actually qualified. They try, with good ideas, but cannot execute. The dogs don’t even eat the chicken. That says something when Labradors refuse meat! Sadly the MH don’t want to discuss improvements. Milk Fest is very popular but they charge £1 per ‘glass’ deposit and then refuse to return. Nice scam. Customer service is ok if you’re happy with teens. Lots of teens on minimum wage who are incredibly polite considering. The owner however is rude and unprofessional. The environment is nice.
