Only stopped for a quick lunch on a Tuesday. The restaurant area was very busy but, as we were only having sandwiches, we sat outside. The service was friendly and the beer was good. A decent choice of sandwich fillings. Price per person: £10–20 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Staff are so kind! Opportunity to donate to the armed forces for a cute poppy. Kid menu needs a bit of rewording. Not sure who would like to eat fresh CHILDREN PASTA! Sunday roast was very average...the vegetables were substantially over cooked, chicken leg was a bit dry, the Yorkshire pudding was akin to cardboard. The olives for the starter were lacking much flavour, apart from 2 larger ones. So overall disappointing, and I could not recommend. The restaurant has a great atmosphere and the staff are very friendly. I will definitely be going back! The only downside was that the gluten-free options for main courses were limited to just fish and chips when we visited on a busy Saturday night. However, overall, we had no complaints. The car parking was a bit tight, but we were able to find one of the last available spaces. The price per person was between £30-40. I would rate the food as a 4 out of 5.

I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant for Sunday lunch. The attentive waiting staff took care of us with great personal attention. I highly recommend the vegetarian options, although they are a bit limited on the Sunday lunch menu. The nut roast main dish can be made vegetarian or vegan and is absolutely delicious. There are also a variety of starters and desserts available, although I did not try them on this occasion. As for parking, I was able to find a disability space right next to the main door, which was perfect.

We had booked in advance for our Christmas eve dinner, having looked at the menus reviews. We weren't disappointed! We had one coeliac, one vegan in our group, so we're used to presenting chefs with a challenge, but they rose to it well, and presented us all with fantastic platters, in. Timely fashion. Being Christmas Eve, we were faced with another challenge in how to get back to our little festive air BnB. The managers, staff, really went the extra mile, in looking after us, to ensure we got home, when local taxis were hard to find. We love this place!
