I had a quick lunch at this restaurant. It was very basic and didn't seem worth the money. The decor was nice, but the place was empty and quite cold. The price per person was around £50-60. The food was rated a 2, the service a 3, and the atmosphere a 1.

Amazing atmosphere, delicious food, and outstanding service as always. This is our favorite restaurant to go to! I had the Bulgar Wheat Salad and it was fantastic. My husband ordered the Lamb Koftas and my daughter had the vegan burger. Everyone cleared their plates, we all loved our meals.

I had a fantastic experience with the Sunday roast at this restaurant. The service was great and the prices were very reasonable, averaging between £20-£30 per person. I rated both the food and service as a 5, as well as the atmosphere. I highly recommend trying the Classic Prawn Cocktail and the Roast Beef.

Was a little sceptical at first, once visited many moons ago and was not impressed with the service or the food. Saying that, having heard good reviews since its take over, I was impressed this time! We were served by Jack, he was polite and approachable, and tended to our needs. We came in for a family birthday meal. We all had roasts, chicken and one mixed. All good on the food front! The Moat restaurant comes highly recommended after my Friday evening visit. The staff greeted us warmly and showed us to our reserved table. We quickly ordered drinks and perused the menu, finding it hard to choose from the tempting dishes. I started with the scotch egg, which was the best I've ever had, while my companion enjoyed the parsnip soup. Our main courses, the Moat burger and rib of beef, were equally delicious. For dessert, we savored the crumble with ice cream and lemon meringue pie. The attentive waiting staff provided excellent service without being intrusive.
