"Arrived on a wet Saturday afternoon with my wife and dog, all of us very wet and muddy having walked the coast path from the other side of Looe. We asked if they were happy with our bedraggled state and couldn’t have had a warmer welcome from both staff and locals. One of the ladies got us seated by the window were we spent a long afternoon eating beautifully prepared food with great local ales and well priced wine. A very memorable afternoon in a beautiful old pub made extra special by the great staff. Highly recommended and would love to visit again sometime."

"My vegan mum and I have been coming to Polperro for years, but for some reason have only just tried the Plantation Tearooms! They have loads of great vegan (and veggie options, and a totally separate vegan/veggie menu which is very clear. They have vegan cheeze and are very generous with it too. There is also an option of a vegan ploughman’s, which I haven’t been able to find anywhere else in Cornwall so far! The staff are super lovely and the prices are reasonable. The only thing I would mention is they don’t serve alcohol, but if you were desperate for a beer it’s not like there aren’t a load of pubs nearby you could visit afterwards ;"

"We were greeted with friendly smiles as soon as we arrived. Ordered some drinks and were seated straightaway. We didn’t want a full blown meal so ordered Pork baps with apple sauce and stuffing, and shared a bowl of roast potatoes, we had a small...pot of gravy each. It was certainly value for money and absolutely delicious. I meant to ask for the gravy recipe, but forgot. It was luvvverly. The Staff and locals in there were a great bunch of people and there was a lovely festive atmosphere. We will definitely go there again in the future. Thank you all."

"Where to start, we walked passed this place and the sign said fully booked. We popped in on the off chance of a cancellation and much to our luck we go a booking, therefore if you do want to eat here defo book a week in advance! The lovely lady was very helpful with recommendations and if you love lobster this is the place to go locally. We got the biggest one available to share between too which was just under 3lbs and was the perfect amount. The scallops to start were lush and a nice Chablis to go with it all. The decor is reto but we absolutely loved it what a fantastic place with lovely services, what a lucky treat so again make sure you book to taste the local wonders of the sea."

"Gorgeous. The little beach huts keep you out of the sea breeze. Lovely food. Narrow road to get there, plenty of parking behind the cafe, pay and display and now portaloos in the car park which are easier to access than the now closed public loos. Very popular for lunch, dog friendly and on the Coastal path Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch"
