"My Wife and I had dinner last night at The Nelson restaurant and thoroughly enjoyed it. The ambience was perfect, very comfortable with relaxing jazz in the background. We received a warm welcome from the friendly team The food?! Amazing! Perfectly cooked Scallops, gorgeous pate, beautiful Lemon Sole, fresh vegetables and all finished with wonderful desserts. We enjoyed a beautiful bottle of Chablis from the extensive wine list. The whole evening was excellent value for money and we would heartily recommend The Nelson."

Fabulous evening with family celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary. The food was delicious, service and atmosphere brilliant. Would definitely recommend, have been before and will go again.

Really great food , nice restaurant, well worth a visit in your are in the area. Meal was one of the best I have had in a long time . Highly recommended. Need to book well in advance , but worth it.

Whenever we visit Polperro, we have a meal here. The atmosphere is olde worlde, comfortable, the service is efficient and the food excellent. I especially enjoyed the 'Lemon Sole Amande ', served with fresh veges and new potatoes. And of course, a nice glass of wine! Cleared my plate!!
