Fabulous evening with family celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary. The food was delicious, service and atmosphere brilliant. Would definitely recommend, have been before and will go again.

I had the lobster in garlic butter, while my partner opted for the lobster in tomato sauce. Both dishes were incredible! The prices are reasonable, and I assure you, you won't be disappointed. This restaurant offers great value for money, serving high-quality seafood in the lovely town of Polperro!

The food was outstanding, and the service was exceptional. The Crab Mornay was fantastic, and the lobster thermidor was exquisite. My wife’s bouillabaisse was not only delicious but also a generous portion. I highly recommend this restaurant, but be sure to make a reservation since it can get quite busy! Ver carta

It's hard to evaluate this restaurant. The ambiance was nice, and the food was decent, but it felt overpriced. Unfortunately, the service left much to be desired—perhaps a smile and a warmer greeting would have improved the experience. Honestly, it felt like being served by the Addams Family. Would I return? No.

My Wife and I had dinner last night at The Nelson restaurant and thoroughly enjoyed it. The ambience was perfect, very comfortable with relaxing jazz in the background. We received a warm welcome from the friendly team The food?! Amazing! Perfectly cooked Scallops, gorgeous pate, beautiful Lemon Sole, fresh vegetables and all finished with wonderful desserts. We enjoyed a beautiful bottle of Chablis from the extensive wine list. The whole evening was excellent value for money and we would heartily recommend The Nelson.

Where do I begin? We walked past this restaurant and noticed the sign saying it was fully booked. On a whim, we decided to check for a cancellation, and to our delight, we were able to secure a table. If you plan to dine here, I highly recommend making a reservation at least a week in advance! The lovely staff member was incredibly helpful with her recommendations, and if you're a lobster lover, this is definitely the place to be. We shared the largest lobster available, which weighed just under 3 pounds, and it was the perfect portion for two.
