We had a family event at this restaurant today and they took good care of us. The buffet was great and kid-friendly. The food, service, and atmosphere all received top ratings of 5.

I have visited The Oaks a few times since its recent renovation. The pub is fantastic, with delicious food and attentive staff. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, making it a highly recommended spot. Ver carta

The beer selection is top-notch, the food is of excellent quality, and the atmosphere is beautiful. It's clear that the place has really improved since the last renovation. This pub is definitely the best for miles!

New owners give your head a wobble. If you have a child and a dog you are not welcome in this pub. There isn't an area for you to sit as a family. I recently discovered this restaurant a few weeks ago and was very impressed. I only had a drink, but the atmosphere was beautiful, clean, bright, and airy. The dishes that came out of the kitchen looked fabulous. The menu offered a good selection and was very affordable. I definitely plan on visiting again and trying out their food.

Disappointing no longer family friendly. The new owners seem to have gotten the formula totally wrong here. The local area is full of families and a lot have dogs. You can’t visit this pub as a family with your dog and children even though they reckon it is family and dog friendly. Dogs can only go into the bar and children only into the lounge so you have to sit separately. Utter madness. We won’t be returning. Food: 3

I went to this restaurant for lunch yesterday and was astonished by the new prices! £15.95 for a burger is outrageous. It seems like they are trying to position themselves as a fine dining establishment now. The prices have increased across the board, but the restaurant still has a long way to go in terms of justifying these new prices. The decor and furniture are in desperate need of an update, which may explain why the place was empty. After having one drink, I decided to go to the Horse and Jockey instead, where the atmosphere and prices were much better. The food there was also good.
