On a Saturday afternoon, Consett is typically known for its pubs. However, this particular establishment is a great option for a mature couple or a group of friends looking to enjoy a drink. With good deals on offer and a comfortable atmosphere, I would highly recommend stopping by.

We came here for cocktails during a girls' afternoon out. The staff was very welcoming and friendly, providing personalized service. The cocktails were good, the wine was of good quality, and they even offered freshly made munchies (including from-scratch pizza). I highly recommend this place.

Drinks and food were of good quality. a member of the party has not finished their meal (steak was a bit hard) and the personal offered to remove it from the bill, offers a substitute or supplemental drink.

We booked the snug for my son's christening. Communication with Helen was great throughout and the team took care of everything so we could relax and enjoy the day. Food was great, the set up with the cake and decorations was perfect, and the staff were really helpful and friendly. Everyone who came said they thoroughly enjoyed the day and were also impressed with the old court house. I'll definitely book again for another event when an occasion arises. I highly recommend it!

I visited recently with a friend for Bottomless Brunch. We usually venture into Newcastle or Durham and wondered if it would be as good. It was excellent and i'd definitely go again. For food there was a choice of burgers, pizzas or 3 small plates, we went with a pizza and 3 small plates, they were all faultless. Drinks we stuck to cocktails all of which were made fresh and then a glass of prosecco. For me, freshly made cocktails is a game changer for bottomless brunch, they were fab. The staff were all attentive and made sure our glasses were never empty. All in all an excellent afternoon, I hope its as satisfactory at busier times as it really was faultless.

I loved it all. the flowers, the leagues the rustic brickwork etc. Bar staff were very good. visited in the frame of a large group of age groups. for the floorless brunch. was not very groundless. No one came to check whether we would like to bring out further elements during the main course. we asked for a second quantity dessert, as 2 tellers of small cubes cake went not far between 5 people. the waitress looked at us shocked and said she could ask. we said we had the floorless brunch think that she had to have been new and not yet got the whole concept of floorless brunch deals.
