Lovely place, great food and excellent service variety of options available, catered to vegans and dogs were allowed too

We tried The Old Fleece for Sunday lunch for the first time. The food was delicious and served hot, and the service was very attentive.

Stayed in Next-door Airbnb apartment. Had great drinks on one night and best Sunday Lunch I’ve had in ages on another day. Fantastic food, coffee and house wine. Great atmosphere. Interesting toilets. Ver carta

I recently visited this restaurant for their Sunday roast. The atmosphere was inviting and the staff were very welcoming. The menu had a great variety of options and the portion sizes were generous. I would highly recommend this place.

We had a fantastic impromptu Sunday lunch. The food and service was amazing! We were looking for somewhere to eat late (5pm)and the roast was impressive. Not easy to serve a sunday roast all day and keep it succulent is my guess. Will definitely be back.

We consistently find ourselves coming back to this pub time and time again. The service is consistently outstanding, with staff who are always friendly and helpful. The food is always intriguing and unique, far from the typical pub fare that one might expect. Ver carta

Good food and great service on a busy Boxing Day afternoon. We booked ahead as a table of 5, the pub was quite busy with tables of people eating, drinking and lots of dogs. Everything we wanted from the menu was available and the team were friendly and efficient.

A good place to eat in general but a bit disappointed by the level of service when visiting last time getting charged £6 for 2 extra bread rolls to go with the £45 worth of starters we had as the ones that came with the platters were miserly. A trip to the gents had me wishing for a return to the temporary loos, non existent extraction and no floor drains for cleaning in the new toilets need addressing as cleanliness was lacking!

The pub is very cosy , nice and clean The initial wait for the dinner was very long However when the food came out it wasn’t disappointing, perfect dinner ,not keen on the gravy however , and the pudding was the best. Sticky toffee pudding I’ve ever eaten , the staff were fantastic very helpful and patient and they were very busy Would definitely go back , Also I pointed out to the staff on the entrance to the pub they have a ramp but then a step into the pub which doesn’t make sense? So I would say this isn’t accessible for wheelchairs etc Ver carta
