This pub is absolutely fantastic. The staff are all really nice, and the food is delicious though a bit pricey. The portion sizes are good, and it's hard to resist the 2 for 1 pudding offer.

Was in Bangor over the weekend to have a look at the university for my daughter, we wanted somewhere to eat and found The Castle and went in for dinner food was lovely and the two ladies that served us were great! Ended going back for lunch yesterday too! Ver carta

Whenever I'm in Bangor, this is always my top choice for a hearty pub meal. It's straightforward and no-nonsense, with generous portions. I always go for the steak and ale pie with a pint of Guinness, and I've never been disappointed. You can't go wrong with this place.

We visited yesterday and had a great time. I ordered the chicken and mushroom pie with chips, while my friend had a burger with double the toppings. For dessert, we shared the cookie dough pizza which was incredible. The food was delicious and the staff were fantastic. We will definitely be returning in the future. Ver carta
