Called in for mid week lunch. Great atmosphere and very helpful staff. Great vegan pasty and a tasty BLT both really good value.

New Chef is great. Good portion size for the main meals and value for money. The dessert portions are small when considering the price but that wouldn't put us off eating here again. Early October 2023 we were staying nearby. For a variety of reasons, (and not wishing to publicly bad mouth our nearby hotel restaurant, we decided to try this pub for an evening meal. The pub was heaving, shoulder to shoulder with locals. Great atmosphere. Ordered drinks and our meal. Within 20 mins our lovely hot and fresh supper was put before us by a cheerful barmaid. Beef spare ribs and fresh fish for me. Absolutely Delicious. Don’t hesitate to try this pub. Ver carta
