"A huge disappointment. First time here, party of 8 of us for my birthday. Venue is gorgeous, but that's where it ends. Kept waiting a very long time once food was ordered, to the point I had to get up and ask when it was coming and was told by the flustered waiter it's coming it's coming . Four of my guests ordered pina colada's all four of them sent it back saying there was no/ very little rum in it. They topped it up with the missing alcohol!Two of us ordered the dressed crab we both thought it was just okay nothing special. I had a lemon on the plate with like a net on it. Took the net off to squeeze over the dish and the lemon was dry with mouldy shrivelled skin that looked like it had been at the back of a cupboard for a week. I didn't complain because I was with guests, but it was noticed. Another guest ordered prawns for starters, They were mostly shell with just a load of sauce on top. There was confusion over the prawn/ lobster linguine which most of us ordered. The menu made it confusing. They ended up bringing us extra prawns separately because of it. I ended up with lobster linguine. We could not believe how bland the food was. It was a bowl of pasta with tomato sauce on! It was tasteless, the only give that gave it any seasoning was the pepper on the table. The lobster' was a rubbery texture that you couldn't taste because it was smothered in this tasteless sauce. There was not even a hint of garlic in it. For £29 that was a joke. We all thought the same, not just me. I could have bought a jar of sauce from the supermarket and made a bowl of that for all of us at home, I've had tastier meals from shop bought sauces than that meal. Our waiter was running around, and trying to get one of my guests to smile, which she found annoying. Someone else found a hair in her meal. He seemed to not know what to do with it, then just took the plate away without saying anything. He then returned and quite patronisingly said was it an eyelash or something She said no it was a long hair. He agreed to take it off the bill. The other staff were very quiet when bringing the food over, almost a whisper, considering music was playing and other people were talking and four of our guests had their backs to them when the food turned up, no one could hear them. We had to pipe up and say who's ordered xx The staff otherwise looked both busy and nonchalant. Busy, but not with us, and almost spaced out as though we didn't exist and we had to keep on waving for their attention. We honestly couldn't believe it. They gave us complimentary shots in the end but by then we were there for way longer than we expected and had had enough. They had lime but didn't even have any salt that you would normally have the shot with, again, we had to ask for it and they, all in their own good time, bought a small bowl of salt over. We didn't pay the £36 service charge they added to the bill. For a group of 8 of us, and we all felt the same, there has got to be something in it. We had high hopes for this restaurant but the quality of the food and service does not match the venue, and its all way way over priced. Needless to say, none of us will be going back."

Really nice local restaurant, great atmosphere and friendly staff, good options for gluten free/celiac people. Steaks there are amazing.

we had my friends birthday party at the pearl the ambiente, the decor and the atmosphere in the restaurant was beautiful. the service of the personal was very good and friendly. the food was delicious! I would definitely visit there again and I have already recommended friends.

I was a couple of times at the pearl and always enjoy the atmosphere and eating! There are not many places with such a focus on seafood in the opposite and all the dishes I had in the pearl are great. Moreover, they can see that they support local suppliers as they have some beautiful wein on the menu.

visited here for a bottomless champagne cocktail brunch, and it was very nice. they get a meal, a dessert and unlimited champagne-based cocktails from a setlist as many as they can drink in 90 minutes! the personal was very beautiful and the design of the place is beautiful and flowery! we could have stayed longer.

very beautiful location and atmosphere, although over prices of my opinion after, wein is at least £ 30 a bottle and lobster, while beautiful was one of the smallest I had (I know it is expensive but only felt short changed). we also had the baked cadry that was delicious and much better. I know I'm going over the worth, but was really excited about the lobster as tasty bites and didn't get what I expected. a beautiful place.

the first impressions when they go into this place are that they have tried to deal clearly here with decoration. the environment is modern and yet warm with some individual touches that give the place personality. we came on a weekday so that the bar in the ground floor was quite empty, but can imagine is a good place to have a few drinks before they top in the restaurant. on the menu there is a good choice of meat and seafood and with a good selection on the menu choice. service impeccable and attentive and will come back again. food 4/5 worth 4/5 environment 5/5 service 5/5

We booked The Pearl, for our parent’s anniversary dinner.The ambience was good. Thought had gone into providing places, to take pretty photos, for social media.My parents thoroughly enjoyed their Dover Sole Sea Bass Supreme. For the siblings, however, we were either disappointed with the average portion size of the Shellfish Platter, or with the dire lack of seasoning, in the Fillet of Cod.Our starters (Salmon Sashimi, Scallop Vialli, Dressed Crab, Mussels and Griddle Prawns) were pleasant. Staff were polite too.It’s good to try something new. Unfortunately, we won’t be returning. The siblings, in any case.

Amazing local restaurant, I'm so glad they have a range of different fish/seafood dishes as I get bored of Prawns, Salmon Seabass which seem like the only pescatarian options in most places. The staff were very welcoming and the restaurant is simply GORGEOUS, every section of the interior looks like they designed it to be photographed. The cocktails are tasty, well made and excellent value for money. I was celebrating my birthday and a group of staff came over and sung Happy Birthday to me which was a nice touch. They also have a Lounge downstairs where you can enjoy Shisha, cocktails and food from the restaurant menu

We had a reservation at the pearl 28th may which is my birthday and we were greeted with a great reception from the door. The venue looked sparkling clean from the outside in. Staff were very friendly and accommodating.I had the dressed crab and the flat iron chicken and my girlfriend the prawns and lobster for dinner.Food was perfectly portioned and delicious! I really recommend the dressed crab especially with a squeeze of lemon which is provided.Best part of our experience was Andre the owner. He took time to come over and chekc on my and my partner and made us feel special. He was nothing but kind and generous and really made a big deal out of my birthday. We love him so much we even too...
