Fine place for a leisurely lunch. Excellent food, efficient service and reasonable prices. Would recommend this for anyone

We came today for a birthday lunch and everyone was so nice. Our server Lloyd was especially great, so helpful and friendly. Beautiful conservatory area, couldn't have asked for more. Thank you!

We pitched up with two fractious teens and no booking. We only have our selves to blame. Hey ho what do we know? Anyway the lovely staff directed us into the garden and supplied emergency chip order so all good. Would love to come back...under less-strained circumstances Thanks chaps Lxxx, Ver carta

Booked a table for 20Th May arrived and was taken to a table for 2 very close to the other couple we both felt awkward COVID) we asked to be moved .looked at the menu very limited more meals available on their website....You were asked to pay a 12 percent surcharge what we saw come out did not look very good so decided to leave

Visited for Sunday lunch. Table was ready on time despite the place being heaving there were plenty of staff who were all working really hard. We had the Sunday roast which was very tasty, although I would like to have seen chicken or turkey...as an option as one of the party doesnt eat red meat so they were a bit disappointed to miss out on a roast. Sides were lovely, especially the roast potatoes, but Im always a bit put out when cauliflower cheese is listed as an expensive 3.95 I think) extra, especially when the lunch itself is around 20. The pub itself is in a lovely riverside location with a large garden, and definitely worth a visit.

We have always enjoyed the top quality food, atmosphere and service at the Perch but our experience there last Saturday was something to be truly...valued. At a family gathering at the Perch, one of our party members had an emergency health issue. Ths assistance, support and concern that was shown by the managers and staff were truly commendable, professional and discreet in all manner. a Russian, southern brit, a North American, two bangladeschs went to the beautiful pub on a modest sunny winter day to grab a prise fresh batch of bright ales. they ended in a discussion about a wide range of themes, from polar...bear, to texas bbq, to world politics and pampered in order more batches of light ahlen, moled cider, Scottish iron and srumptious avocado toast with sunny side up, followed by a real relaxed walking. the hotel is located away from the city center, you have to get through the harbour meadow to the beautiful gasthof. the staff are friendly, the meals are delicious and if the weather is on the rough side, they can always sit at the cozy fireplace inside!

came with my friend in the late Wednesday afternoon to the perch. the workers who were present at the bar hardly recognized us to come in. After we had a look at a table in the garden, the young boy approached us and informed that the place was completely... booked and we could only have drinks but not food. there were no reserve signs that could be seen everywhere and only one area of the garden looked like it had been set up for a reservation. we are then sent to the bar to confirm their inability to accommodate us with the manager, but said person never came to give is more information. we left disappointed and decided to try another place close to that offered much better customer servic...

they had landed and had no table available, they were fully booked, but many tables without reserve marks were available inside and outside. No one welcomes them when they come or inform them about their current capacity, so they only have to around 10min until someone gives any kind of information. we were told that we could have chips and drinks in the garden when we said we would like to eat, not in the snack. we waited for the manager to give us an idea when we have one table or not, but she wasn't there so we decided to go. we were so excited about this place and their menu, but if the staff and the manager are so carefree about their customer service, it is better to avoid only the dis...
