We had a Sunday lunch, very good portions. The restaurant was very nice, but maybe could have been low key music on in the background.

I found my meal enough for me .however my husband found it a bit small . Cooked well very nice. Staff welcoming . Helpful. Lovely place was recommended to me. Ver carta

Second visit. Warm welcome from the landlord. Nice basic menu, but the food was very good indeed. The chicken schnitzel was excellent. Well kept beer (Doombar). Will return again.

Retuarnt almost empty on a Saturday night. My curry only just hot enough and stale naan bread. My partners pie ok. It the gravy was like tasteless water Waiter didn’t seem interested that there were issuers 1 course each and a bottle of wine £48 so not a cheap meal No wonder pubs are closing down they don’t even try

I would rate the food and value a zero as we never got to eat there. The service was shocking, only one waitress serving the entire restaurant during a busy Sunday lunch. Our food order was taken a few minutes after we arrived. we had one round of drinks, with no further table service. We were approached by the waitress after waiting for 1hr 30 and told that our food order wasn’t placed, after which point we told her to leave it (wasn’t going to let my child sit and wait another hour for food) We requested to speak to the manager and was told she was on leave, we then requested to speak to the next senior manager and was told it was the chef, he refused to speak to us.
