I had a wonderful time at the restaurant. The entire experience was enjoyable, and the staff were very attentive to our requests. The food was perfectly balanced—not too heavy or salty, which I appreciated. I would definitely return!

The staff were fantastic—welcoming, friendly, and knowledgeable. I brought my two little dachshunds with me, and they were wonderful to them, even giving them a treat. The food was excellent, and the atmosphere was delightful. I would definitely recommend visiting!

I had a birthday dinner here to start Mini-Break. my partner enjoyed their vegetarian options and I had a very delicate 12oz steak. the visit was made by the very friendly and informative waitress that led us through the history of the building. be aware that calm last orders can be earlier than usual.

overall a pleasant experience. eating was excellent quality, but the little bites were quite small, still hungry after I had the mushroom chicken with couscous. my partner had the cod and the muscles also felt that the part was on the small side. it was appropriate for the quality, but not so much for the quantity. the staff was attentive and helpful.

We just wrapped up a small family gathering at Porch House, and we couldn't be more impressed with the entire experience. Ash was our main server, and he was truly a professional in every sense. He made us feel welcome from start to finish. The food and drinks were exceptional, and the service was outstanding. We all had a wonderful time and are already looking forward to our next visit.

I had a wonderful dining and cocktail experience, enhanced by professional service. The rooms are beautifully designed with exceptional attention to detail and a sense of luxury. The restaurant is housed in a well-preserved historic building that exudes traditional charm. Everyone around me seemed to be having a delightful evening. I highly recommend this place to anyone who appreciates the hidden gems of the UK.

As soon as we walked into the door we were warmly welcomed by Rachael the assistant manager. Rachael took the time to ensure our stay was memorable ensuring my husband's birthday treat was in the room. Giving us a brief history lesson of this amazing Inn. Our dinner reservations a must otherwise you will not get a table was fantastic. Max was awesome ensuring our choices met our expectations and I must say they exceeded them! Delicious!

This is a really nice pub with great service as well as good quality food and drinks. The roast dinner was excellent as was the starter however it is really quite expensive for what it is and is not quite worth the they charge. They claim to be dog friendly, but we struggled to find seating indoors for our dog and were not helped out at the front when looking for a table we could sit with out dog. Overall it is a nice pub, but not nicer than any other pub in the Cotswolds.

my man and I stayed here for a new year day trip after a christmas that fell a bit flat for kovid! we were in the superior room that was far bigger than we expected and felt like really good value for money. the room was finished to a beautiful standard, while still the charm and character of the building. the staff was friendly and attentive and we had excellent eating in the restaurant in the evening. we were in a few other guesthouses/ hotels in stow on the wold, but that was our favorite yet. we will definitely stay here again! thanks porch house!
