"I visited The Prince George with a friend at the weekend. I have been before, but my friend hadn't. The food at this pub is incredible. The staff are also extremely welcoming and friendly. I had the Battered Halloumi and my friend had the Veggie...Chilli Dog we shared two sides; Onion Rings and Spicy Cauliflower. We decided afterwards that we both had bigger eyes than our bellies one side would have been more than enough the portions are huge! Which is obviously a great thing. I would recommend people to order their main meals and then wait to see if they are still hungry afterwards to order sides. I eat like a horse (portion-size, not table manners) and I really was stuffed to the brim. The only downside was that a very loud hen-do sat next to us and so halfway through the meal we couldn't hear ourselves think, let-alone talk, but that was obviously not the pub's fault, nor would I wish to be a killjoy over these sorts of things, we just had to slightly rush to finish so that we could leave. The pub itself cannot be faulted though, and I will 100% be visiting again in the future many times!"

My family are vegetarian, I am a confirmed carnivore but this vegi gastro pub had a delicious selection of food for every taste. Very generous portions. Ended up going there twice within a few weeks. Need I say more.

I’ve been to The Prince George for food a few times since they reopened in May and I am so impressed with the food. You can really tell a lot of care and attention is put into the presentation and it tastes amazing. Plus the...portion sizes are huge, perfect!!!

compelled to congratulate the prince george kitchen team for a wonderful plate of eating. delicious falafel, sharp outer, melting texture inside and perfectly seasoned hummus, salat and homemade chips (salt potatoes best) all very attractively presented really was popping in...ungeplant for this plant-based firm hurra!!!

are here a few times since it reopened and can honestly say that eating is amazing. the sunday roasts are so generous and beautifully joined together, and the nachos are also fab! everything tastes super fresh and it's so beautiful to have so much choice for a Veggie menu. the staff is also very beautiful and makes them very welcome!

so many things about this pub are perfect. eating looks great, but since I'm allergic to weeping, I can't eat much. the great low was the setting of the rod. the bartender who knocked my friends quite aggressively, drank over (that cost over £9 soaked the table, my friends clothes when she just said you knocked my drink) he did not answer to me so that we let it clean up (he had blue towel under his arm) then he drank half a drink in my face. I saw all the interaction, my friend didn't scream and was quiet and polite. this aggressive behavior of the personal was not necessary.

I would like to begin by saying that I have visited this pub for 25 years (and eat) I was forced to review on the basis of the recent deterioration that I have seen in the quality of food (especially the roasts)....The options are very limited, no child menu at all. frozen yorkshire puddings are served (the yorkshire puddings were formerly amazing and definitiw homemade. if they are vegan (as we are) the “vegan option” is in the ground that they don’t get yorkshire puddings now at all! with so many light and readily available recipes for vegan yorkshire puddings out there I think this is a very bad show from what is, finally a vegan / vegetarian pub!
