"We went for dinner last night. The food is amazing. Really interesting and delicious. The white wine was warm however as hadn’t been in the fridge which is NOT good. Overall, we enjoyed it BUT it is very very expensive. I don’t mind paying those prices if you feel you’ve enjoyed a luxury experience. But this is still a pub….cutlery in tins on the table, basic paper slightly soiled menus and paper napkins and waitresses in scruffy clothes. I would gladly go back had we felt that the exorbitant prices reflected in the entire experience. £200 for a meal for 2 is a lot…and not even a complimentary bread selection! I think the food is worthy of the price providing the rest of the dining experience catches up. Until that happens we probably wouldn’t revisit sadly."

Simply the best steak my wife and I have ever eaten! 24oz T Bone to share with delicious skin on fries and seasonal greens. Lovely atmosphere and great service, all on a busy Saturday afternoon. Well done

This is a great place to visit because the members of staff are lovely. The place also has some unique and interesting items, many of which I photographed. It is extremely spacious and an ideal place to explore.

Our Motorbike club destination for that evening. Lovely surroundings and good beer. Some of our guys ate and really enjoyed the food. About 20 of us along with a few from another Classic bike club had a great meet.

Love love love! Been here many times over the years as local, it lost its charm but I can confirm it is well and truly back! Eddie so welcoming and food incredible. We went for Sunday lunch and yes a little pricey but great portion size and was delicious! Sides of pigs in blankets were yummy! Have been recommending to everyone! Lovely to have the No Name back

What a wonderful place! We ended up here on a whim, wasn't expecting much as we knew it was just a pub but the food was phenomenal. The first clue was the menu, it was very short, which is always a good sign. My steak and my partner's bream were wonderful and the sides were amazing the quinoa, the slaw and the potatoes were intriguing and utterly delicious. We'll definitely come back here.

Really like this place the staff were friendly and very helpful and the food was delicious. Plenty of seating in side and out, we rang ahead and reserved a table which is worthwhile as it looks like it's popular and can be busy. The Pud seems to attract cyclist and car enthusiasts as some very beautiful vintage car were parked in the car park. The Pud is in the middle of nowhere so walking to it might not be an option. To be honest we only found it because it was recommended to us but I'm glad we did.

Could there be a more British looking plate of food? Bright welcoming exterior with cosy wooden interiors, this is my ideal tavern. The unique bits of furniture also made it extra homey. Food was delicious, the sunday roast beef was tender, particularly with the onion gravy. Vegetables were bright and fresh, parsnip strips and cauliflower cheese were tasty. Fish and chips was spectacular, great batter, thick chips. Service was so welcoming too! Round it all off with beer and its the perfect sunday. My only wish was that there had been more beef and while they did ask for doneness, it was mostly medium well to well done. Though no less tender!
