"Upon entering the inn, we found both the front and side doors closed with no signage to indicate which one was in use. We had to navigate our way past a family sitting at a table near the entrance. Unfortunately, many of the menu items were not available when the staff brought us menus. We had originally chosen burgers, but were informed they were also out of stock, forcing us to reconsider our choices. Prior to our meals being served, we enjoyed tasty mini cheese scones with pickle butter. However, my lamb rump was a major letdown. It was very fatty, overly pink, and a third of it was inedible. When the staff member asked about our meal, I mentioned my disappointment with the lamb, but the response was not very helpful. My husband's seafood tagliatelle was also unsatisfactory, resembling more of a soupy chowder than a traditional pasta dish. When we requested the bill, there was no further discussion about our experience with the staff. We paid and left, feeling let down especially since the lamb was one of the more expensive items on the menu. Overall, it was a disappointing Saturday evening at the inn."

The food was first class. I had the mackerel pate to start and the duck leg for my main. Great flavours and very well presented. Possibly one of the best meals I’ve had for a long time. Service to match. Very attentive staff and a...lovely atmosphere. I can highly recommend this fine eatery.

This restaurant is truly a hidden gem. We were advised to try out the Pymore Inn and we were pleasantly surprised. The food was absolutely delicious and reasonably priced. The service was exceptional and the wait times were minimal. We have returned since and continue to be impressed. We have already made another reservation and highly recommend this fantastic place!

Quick lunch stop that turned out to be really very good indeed- had the beef sandwich and truffle fries which was beautiful and bountiful! The drinks were also excellent in both presentation and taste, the oooonly slight negative (and I wish I could remove half...a point not a full one) was that the room was slightly chilly (saying that we had just turned up as they opened). With a picturesque garden and beautiful indoor space, it's easy to see why The Pymore Inn is so popular. The friendly staff delivered exceptional service and the landlord went above and beyond to make a special occasion completely perfect. Lunch was delicious but the chefs...excelled themselves with the most gorgeous chocolate fondant for dessert. Couldn't have been made to feel more welcome and can't wait for the next visit. Have been recommending to all!

My previous review of The Pymore Inn was when the current manager had just taken over, and I believe I rated it stars. However, I decided to give it another chance now that they have settled in more. I am so glad I did! They have greatly improved their service and food quality. Both my friend and I thoroughly enjoyed the excellent food and we cannot wait to come back again. The steak was divine and the service from the staff was outstanding. I could not find a single fault. Thank you for a wonderful meal, we will definitely be returning and will recommend it to everyone.
