Sunday lunch with the family was a great success. We had a table with plenty of room about it to fit in the high chair comfortably. The service was good and the food excellent. Having eaten here two years ago for our engagement meal we returned for our 1 year wedding anniversary. Two years ago there was a lovely ambience, lots of locals drinking in the pub and the food was extra special. All the staff were super friendly and it had a really special feel. Unfortunately on returning this year it was like a different place. We had booked for 6pm and were the only people eating at that time with only one other family around. The first time we dined here, the ambience was beautiful with many locals enjoying drinks at the pub, and the food was exceptional. The staff were all very friendly, creating a special atmosphere. However, on our recent visit, it seemed like a completely different place. We had a reservation for 6 o'clock and were the only ones dining, except for one other family.
