"We went for lunch at the pub, which is lovely and situated in a picturesque location near the canal, where we spotted a family of ducks at the nearby nature reserve. I ordered fish and chips, and while it was delicious, the fish was perhaps a bit greasy, as the batter had absorbed too much oil. The portions were reasonable. We also enjoyed dessert, which was excellent. We had visited a few years ago for a Sunday dinner during the lockdown, and it was wonderful then as well. I definitely plan to return for another meal!"
