Absolutely brilliant food. Had a reduced portion Roast. Its off the beaten track but its well worth a visit. Dog friendly. Highly recommended.

Food here is absolutely lovely. Great portion size and lots of choice. I had the Sunday roast beef. Lovely. Great choice at the bar and the staff here are a credit to this fine pub/eatery. Service here is amazing. The locals are very friendly too. I wish this was my local.

Second stay here this year and just as good as first time. Clean, comfy rooms. Excellent shower. Great choice and quality for breakfast. Food is very popular here and very reasonably priced....8 oz rump for £16.95. Cask ale is well kept. Highly recommended. Well done to the friendly team at The Railway

As always The Railway doesn’t disappoint,, we’re all regular visitors to Skipton and always visit The Railway,, four of us had another fantastic Sunday afternoon meal starters, mains and desserts were all beautiful and for the quality of food and service you receive it’s just very reasonably priced…. We will certainly be looking forward to our next visit…. Thank you … Mel……..

We found this hidden gem on our dog walk along the canal in Skipton on a Sunday afternoon,it’s located on the back streets just off the canal and 5 minutes walk from the centre on Skipton, the pub has a separate restaurant which was very busy ,we sat in the bar area,we ordered two Sunday lunches,they were delicious homemade and well cooked with all the trimmings ,the food and drinks were reasonably priced,the staff were attentive and friendly , the pub was very clean and tidy and is also dog friendly,we will be returning the next time we are in Skipton,the food was far better than the other pubs we have tried along the main high street.

Came here for Sunday lunch whilst staying in the area. I chose it on the reviews and also as it served food on a Sunday until 7pm, which not all pubs do. We had a lovely meal, and there is a brilliant menu with loads of choice and loads of options for vegetarians! I had the nut roast, which was large and delicious! My brother did have the burger, which was homemade and served medium cooked, so still pink in the middle. We had to send it back as I wanted it well done. Should really have asked us how we wanted it cooked at the time of ordering. The desserts were delicious, had the homemade crumble and custard! Definitely recommend booking a table as it gets very busy!
