Top food.great staff always a pleasure to visit here. Buzzing atmosphere and good beers.

Went with my family of thirteen. Food was lovely and service was quick. Massive portions of food which we all enjoyed. I’d recommend this establishment to everyone.

Went this evening for a family get together everyone had something different and everyone was pleased with there meal. Served very nicely on boards and all looked amazing. We do and will carry on going regularly. Highly recommend for value aswell Ver carta

We had a big celebration 9 of us I know things have gone up but it's over priced and we had 8 different meals not 1 was as good as it used to be ,they squash far to many in my poor 89 year old mum could not get in her seat needless we won't be back

Not for me ! Felt like I was sitting in a canteen. Certainly didn't like my food being served on a wooden platter. I had steak and ale pie , It was good but I don't want to tip all the ingredients on to the wooden platter. See photo. I won't be returning.

Efficient and friendly service. The food was excellent pub grub at a reasonable price. The portions are large so make sure you're hungry; really hungry. I joined a party for lunch and didn't have any breakfast! Starter and main, no room for dessert. Will definitely return. Ver carta

I don’t normally write reviews as frankly I don’t have the time and I can’t be bothered! However, I was really impressed with the Sunday Roast. They were really busy on Fathers Day and they managed to squeeze us in last minute. The food was lovely. Good quality for an affordable price. I was really impressed. I felt they deserved a 5 star.

Food was lovely, would recommend, very tasty and generous portions. Smiley, friendly staff, welcoming. Had a prawn sandwich which was served with chips and a tasty fresh salad, shared with daughter as was generous portions, £13.95 so good price between two people. Would return , they also do a carvery on a Sunday which I had booked initially, but changed our minds and that wasn't a problem changing onto the normal menu.

Had a meal this afternoon, the food was nice but the customer service was not great, lots of staff milling around but our table sat with empty plates and glasses for at least 20 mins before anyone moved them, everything seemed to take a long time before anyone came to ask whether we wanted another drink or to look at the dessert menu, also seemed to take a while to pay! We don't live in the area so we won't be returning Ver carta
