Very pleasant relaxing meal. Lovely food and excellent service. Very accommodating with dietary requirements. Can highly recommend.

Tried the Red Lion this evening with a friend as the menu looked really interesting. No beige pub grub here! A warm welcome, really tasty food, great service and friendly owners. We will definitely be back.

Loved how friendly and helpful everyone was. Food was cooked fresh and was very tasty. Nice to see some of the menu items had smaller plate options. Very nice atmosphere to sit for drinks or food. Will be back soon.

We booked a table for four adults for a Saturday evening. The food was excellent, including vegetarian option. Good, friendly service. Old, rural pub with outdoor area. Check opening times before going. Will definitely be returning.

Had lunch here today. It has a lovely cosy atmosphere, families and dogs all welcome. Open fire and very friendly hosts. Food was excellent I couldn't finish ribs so they boxed them up and I've brought them home!!! Well worth a visit to a great English pub.

We recently had dinner at the Red Lion for my husbands birthday and we had a really good time. The customer service was 100%, with every staff member going out of their way to make sure we had a great experience. The food came out quickly and everything tasted delicious! A huge thank you to Lora the team!! One thing I would suggest that would make the experience even more brilliant is adding a more substantial vegan option. The Beetroot Rosti was absolutely delicious but not very substantial compared to some of the meat options on the menu. Overall, we had a fantastic time and will definitely be back.

I knew that this pub was under new management and my friend had recently been here and said the meal was good so I thought I would invite me friends for dinner, I was not disappointed, the service, food and cosiness of the pub was excellent and would return, I had to trout and crumble and it was delicious and could of done with some more custard. Freddie who took our order and served us was exceptionally professional and funny too. Only minor point is when we were going in from the back it looked like it could do with a bit of love and pretty flowers. Look forward to returning maybe in the autumn when the fire is on.
