Tried the Red Lion this evening with a friend as the menu looked really interesting. No beige pub grub here! A warm welcome, really tasty food, great service and friendly owners. We will definitely be back.

Loved how friendly and helpful everyone was. Food was cooked fresh and was very tasty. Nice to see some of the menu items had smaller plate options. Very nice atmosphere to sit for drinks or food. Will be back soon.

Had lunch here today. It has a lovely cosy atmosphere, families and dogs all welcome. Open fire and very friendly hosts. Food was excellent I couldn't finish ribs so they boxed them up and I've brought them home!!! Well worth a visit to a great English pub. Ver carta

I knew that this pub was under new management and my friend had recently been here and said the meal was good so I thought I would invite me friends for dinner, I was not disappointed, the service, food and cosiness of the pub was excellent and would return, I had to trout and crumble and it was delicious and could of done with some more custard. Freddie who took our order and served us was exceptionally professional and funny too.
