Excellent service- everyone was lovely and welcoming. Charlotte is hilarious and should have her own comedy show. Mains were delicious as was the wine. Deserts could have been better. Cheesecake was dry and pannocotta hard but we still had a lovely time.

I had an excellent Sunday lunch at this charming dog-friendly pub. The staff were attentive and even offered me a Yorkshire pudding after inquiring about my dietary preferences, which I thought was a nice gesture. The service was great, and the atmosphere was lovely. Ver carta

Came here for family lunch with my elderly mother. We were looked after very well by Charlotte who was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. Food was very good and good vegan choices for my daughter. We were able to enjoy a leisurely lunch and it was very comfortable. Would certainly recommend Half Way Inn.

It was surprisingly busy for a Thursday night, which was a good sign. I tried the tofu and harissa salad as well as the red Thai tofu curry, both of which were tasty, though a bit sweeter than I prefer. The service was excellent. Earlier that afternoon, I had asked if the monkfish would be on the specials menu, but when I inquired at the table, I was met with confusion. Fortunately, they had received a delivery that day and were happy to prepare a monkfish dish for my wife. I will likely return again.

I had a wonderful Sunday lunch at The Halfway Inn. There were two of us, and we thoroughly enjoyed a traditional Sunday roast. We started with the tempura prawns, which were light, crispy, and delicious. The roasts were plentiful, and I have to give a special mention to the gravy—it was absolutely outstanding. Although we were quite full, we couldn't resist trying the sticky toffee pudding, which was exceptional, especially when paired with the homemade fig honey ice cream. The selection of wine and ale was lovely, and the friendly service in a cozy setting made it a fantastic way to spend a Sunday afternoon. Food: 5, Service: 5, Atmosphere: 4. Ver carta
