what a beautiful foundation. saw outside in the back garden and enjoyed a great traditional English pub with cozy corners, view over the village green and good beer. the staff was friendly and helpful.

A beautiful place for lunch and a well deserved rest after a long ride on my motorbike. A great lunch menu from light snacks to full main meals, and they serve a traditional Sunday lunch from 12 noon to 4pm. Well worth seeking out with great views out front across the village green.

Very nice looking pub with lots of spaces. Beautiful garden area. The food was very nice but portions are a little bit smaller in comparison to other pubs. I had sea bass with baby potatoes and it was delicious. My family also had fish and chips and beef roast which wasn’t as good as my food.

First visit to this beautiful historic Pub, Delighted they had a full menu on Monday lunchtime. Food was sublime Burger and Calves Liver with Bacon which came with 5 fresh vegetables. Hearty portions perfect on a Winter’s day. Washed down with a Pint of Pride. Staff and service were excellent. Will be back!

We stopped here on the way back from Peppa Pig world for a family lunch. We had the steak pie, not one to ever go for a pie but it was raining and cold and seemed like a good idea. Well....what a great idea. It was gorgeous, the kids ate everything too. My wives pie got devoured by my 3 year old testament to how nice it was. The beer was also good. I had a new Spanish brew (can't remember the name even though I googled it) it was that good. Would recommend, service nice and nice ambience. Kid-friendliness: They have kids meals and friendly to kids
