"We booked a table here a few days in advance to ensure we got an outside table. We arrived to a queue of people 10 deep most of whom had not booked. The people before us were told to choose any outside table . By the time we were seated we had the table furthest from the restaurant meaning no serving staff came near us without us having to flag them down. On the upside our food was good and when we did get attention from staff they were lovely just overwhelmed. Generally we felt the pub was understaffed but felt sorry for the staff doing their best. Furthermore, we really did not appreciate tables of people smoking whilst we were eating,"

The staff were very helpful and attentive. The food was serve promptly and tasted very good The outdoor seating wasn't a comfortable asi would have liked as I found the wooden seats hard and uncomfortable. Apart from that on the whole I would recommend this a good place to eat out. Thankyou.

Waited and waited for our food. I was presented with Burger, chips and the 3 smallest onion rings ever. This was not the nicest looking food I have ever been served. Then we ordered dessert which took an age to get to us. When we asked where it was and how long it would take the waitress snapped that the pub was busy. It was about 1/3 full. Then the desserts arrived and were almost thrown onto the table. Very disappointed and won’t be returning.
