"After visiting the cathedral, I had lunch at this café. There are tables situated beneath a chandelier, but I opted to eat indoors. They serve soup, sandwiches, light meals, as well as cakes and cream teas. The counter service was quick, even though the café was busy, and the prices were quite reasonable. I had a delightful salad with greens, tomatoes, and red cabbage. The quiche was warm, perhaps slightly cooler than hot, but it was still tasty, and the pot of tea was robust and enjoyable. One of the highlights was being able to admire the cathedral’s stunning architecture through the glass roof while I ate! At the far end of the café, there is a lovely shop where you can purchase glass paperweights, tapestries, jewelry, and other gifts and toys inspired by the cathedral, along with some intriguing books."

Cream tea was great. The glass roof offers a view of the cathedral. If you're lucky there isn't too much going on there. Service: Dine in Meal type: Other Price per person: £1–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

This is a beautiful and relaxing place to enjoy a meal or drink, featuring a magnificent view through the glass ceiling. The prices are reasonable, and the quality of the food is excellent. Overall, it’s a fantastic experience.

We decided to stay for lunch at Salisbury Cathedral. A good English lunch. The ceiling is stained glass and you could see a good part of the Cathedral. Very beautiful. And the food is very good. We chose macaroni typical of the area and pork in the oven with vegetables and with a spiced bread also in the oven. Rich A good stop after seeing the magnificence of the Cathedral. I entered a bustling yet charming cathedral cafe. I intended to order soup for myself and my mom, and a panini for my dad. Unfortunately, we weren't attended to at all and had to flag down a staff member for assistance. They asked if we wanted the panini toasted, only to inform us that the toaster was out of order. Overall, the staff came across as rude and disinterested, serving others who arrived after us while we waited for quite some time. I won’t be returning.

There was room to sit and enjoy our food and the overall atmosphere was jolly. My two gripes are that 1. The vegetable soup tasted horrible 2. The cutlery was noticeably dirty (evidence of previous meal on them) and I had to search through the cutlery boxes for clean-ish items. I raised #2 with the Manager whose defence was that the dishwasher had been refilled with clean water at the start of the (cathedral) service. Obviously it has become dirty rather quickly or the wash cycle was too short. Didn’t inspire confidence.
