Visited a few times recently after doing one of the walking trails. Cakes are great highly recommend both the coffee cake and carrot cake. Service can sometimes be a bit hit and miss. Popular but plenty of seating so have never had an issue getting a table.

Good variety on the menu which kept everyone in the 1-70 age range happy. Large portions at standard prices. Good quality and tasty. The queue to order felt long but moved relatively quickly and the food didn’t take long to arrive. Plenty of tables inside and out. They have high chairs. Ver carta

Thursday a.m. an excellent time to visit the cafe after our walk. I was with our rescue Doodle in training so the young lady staff member helped by bringing my coffee out to the deck for me, then my cutlery which I’d forgotten. The big breakfast was served quickly, was perfect and kept me going all day. Noisy under 3s were there in abundance but never a nuisance there is lots of room. Summary very good food, coffee and choice, supported by well trained, thoughtful staff. And Doodle loved it too!

Coffee has become so weak that we many people we know have stopped buying it over the last few months. With previous manager it got good, but coffee has gradually got worse worse recently. Staff friendly but the systems have become really chaotic and inefficient so have to wait ages just for a coffee scone. Strongly disapprove of the recent change to using disposable cups as the norm this is an environmental nightmare should not be happening. It is really hard to get staff to provide a proper cup.

Disappointing Americano coffees for the two of us this morning, Sat 15 April. Not up to the usual standard. Definitely couldn't have been made by usual staff as so different. Very poor, weak flavour milk had been put in by staff before serving (please don't do this! which meant we couldn't choose how much to put in according to taste. If coffee doesn't go back to the good standard it's been we won't be purchasing again. Seemed to be almost all new staff. We hope they'll get training from the previous staff to get the standard back! Ver carta
