"This was a last minute booking for us as we decided we wanted to go out for dinner for the evening, we were not left disappointed. We had such a lovely evening and was fully accommodated and well looked after. The food was so delicious and the attention to detail and presentation of the food was brilliant. The food tasted so fresh and was served warm and contained lots of flavour. I cannot fault our evening at The Rising Sun as the whole experience was so lovely and we left with our tummy’s being full of delicious, warm , flavoured food. We will be returning very soon as we are excited to try many other dishes of the very long menu."

Very busy Friday night but everything was well organised, with good quality of service and excellent food. Live in hope that one day there will be a house red wine that’s better value for money but that’s the same wherever you go!

once again, excellent aromen and good service, but one of our choices was not available (before 5 minutes after ordering), one of 3 meal times came well 5 minutes before the others, and there was a 10-minute gap between 2 desserts (the latter we canceled due to the delay). a light disappointment about our favorite restaurant in thame: obviously short-circuited in the kitchen.
