Slick service and good food. Reasonable pricing. Great venue with waterside views.

Lovely little cafe by the river. We sat outside under cover) right by the river. Had two baguettes with crisps , coleslaw and of course a cheeky beer! Good quality food and well presented.

Breakfast is average at best with soggy eggs Benedict. Most other items just heated up and served. Not bad for a sandwich as a light lunch but better options available locally. Exceptionally slow service. Ver carta

My colleague and I decided to have breakfast at this restaurant and ordered the full English breakfast for £9. It was of really good quality, well-cooked, and looked appetizing on the plate. The staff were excellent. I would give it full marks.

After spending four days in Dartmoor, we returned to Ivybridge in search of a hearty breakfast before catching our train. Rochelle's more than delivered. The friendly service, delicious food with a wide variety of options, picturesque views of the river, and inviting atmosphere make it a fantastic choice for a meal.

A friend recommended that I visit Rochelles for brunch saying the chef was French and he made a great croque monsieur. Wow, this place was packed at 11am on a Thursday and i had to queue for a table. Great menu choice but I came for one dish only....., the French chef made the best croque monsieur I have ever tasted, truly delicious. Despite being full the service was exceptional with 4 waitresses busy with happy customers. Upon leaving I asked to see the chef, yes he was French and I told him how great his sandwich was. I treated my mother and a few friends to lunch by the river for a birthday celebration. It was a beautiful day and enjoying delicious food by the river was truly delightful. The French owner was lovely, and the staff were friendly and helpful. We all started with the delicious soup and potato soup. For our main course, we all enjoyed the fish and chips with light and crispy batter and crunchy, flavorful chips. There was not a single bite left on our plates. For dessert, one of us had the medallion with fresh summer berries and Devonshire cream, which was fantastic. The charming French owner, along with the helpful and pleasant staff, made our experience even more enjoyable. We all started with the leek and potato soup, which was delightful. Second time of visiting. The first time I gave a 4*. This time, disappointing. Took ages to be served while I was waiting a man with his dog came in went into the kitchen area, as he knew the chef. Firstly, I don't agree with a dog being in a food area if you're running a business. Secondly, the chef bent down was stroking the dog then went back to serving the food without washing his hands which is not very hygienic. Thirdly, when the food came the bacon wasn't crispy as asked very fatty. The toast had only been buttered in the middle so rest of it was dry.
