Dropped in today on the off chance for a light snack and instead had one of the most impressive meals in a long time, greeted by the chef that offered us alternative options and taste tests, our needs literally catered for. Thanks again Ver carta

My partner and I have ate in the restaurent a few times pre Lockdown and loved the food. Last weekend we ordered some food to pick up and it was the most amazing battered cod I have ever ate and the food was made for us so close to the end of pickup time. Nothing is to much for this amazing team. Cant wait for the next one!

My husband booked st the restaurant for me to have my surprise 60th birthday lunch. My family arrived to set up on Sunday before I arrived. My son was told the chef was sick. My husband was not notified by any staff member. Being the 13th Feb he could not book any luncheon at 12:30 when my son told him about the chef being ill. Certainly some staff member should have contacted husband to make alternate arrangements not have family members travelling over an hour to be told this. Extremely disappointed with how we were treated. Hence no surprise 60th birthday lunch for me.

18 of Killicomaine Jubilee Club went here for our Christmas Lunch. The room was freezing a member of staff did bring a tiny fan heater out). No Christmas decorations on the tables, not even a cracker or Christmas napkins. No background music. The turkey parcels were only half ones, one cocktail sausage, one roast potato and mashed potatoes Roast beef dinner consisted of 2 wafer thin slices and same as above without the cocktail sausage. Plenty of vegetables. The dessert wasn't the greatest either. Our end of year meal and venue was so disappointing. One of the members described it as soulless and that's what it was at a cost of £19.95 each. Not a bit of wonder we were the only one's there Ver carta
