"This place is next to Kew Bridge train station. A lot of the footfall is from people about to get on a train and grabbing a coffee/bite to eat. Therefore they often don't have long to hang around and wait to be served/coffee made. I put up with their slow service a few times because the coffee is generally decent and the food is good quality (which is why it's 2 stars, not 1). But I was standing by the till today, train coming in 5 minutes, 3 staff members in the kitchen area doing non-essential food prep and NONE of them came up to take my order. After about 100 seconds of be staring in disbelief, one of them bothered to acknowledge me and said they would be over in a few seconds (which would have been more like another minute), to which the train was coming in 3 minutes and they hadn't even taken my order, let alone made my coffee, so I just left. The level of customer service is appalling. Given the location and type of customers that come in, you would think they understand the need to be quick (I can live without the smile and friendly service). Edit 07/02/2023- I came in here one more time from desperation of needing a coffee. My train was coming in 8 minutes so I thought there should be enough time to get a coffee and get onto the platform. Just two people in front of me in the queue, so you'd think 5 mins and you should be out. 10, yes TEN minutes later, I got my coffee and MISSED my train. Absolutely Never again. Avoid this place of you're coming for a coffee and getting the train"

Don’t order a cappuccino, it’s basically just milk with a slight coffee flavour, definitely nothing like a proper cappuccino

Waited for a long time for the slowest and poorly organised staff to get my order. Poor quality bacon and dried fried egg. Avoid if you like breakfast.

Yummy place where everything is delicious and quite healthy. Coffee is quite good but not what stands out. Nice deco perfect for a quite time to enjoy.

Food was pretty good. Expected the coffee to taste nicer. We ordered 2 flat whites, maybe the roast was too dark but it had the burnt taste like you get from Starbucks.

Good location by the tube station in Kew Bridge. Eggs Royale is good portion. The falafel wrap needs to be served with some salad or crisps but I guess it’s not not for the price.

Just popped in to grab a hot chocolate whilst waiting for my train and it was delicious. Rich and creamy, and only £2.85. Will definitely be going here again when next in the area.

The coffee was decent but the food wasn't great unfortunately. Eggs florentine consisted of dry toast no butter. 2 not very well poached eggs ie still quite a bit of the white not well cooked. I assume cheap eggs are used because they had no taste. Spinach was just raw, not steamed or wilted. Hollandaise sauce not great either perhaps made with cream cheese? No seasoning whatsoever. I'd be happy to pass by and get a drink to go but that's about it.

This morning I had one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever come across. The women behind the counter were unfriendly and rushed in their demeanour towards me. I heard one of them call out and I went to see if it was my order and asked about it she pointed to the cup at the counter as if I was clueless. Having worked in the same industry previously, I could not believe this behaviour. I won’t be attending this cafe again. The manager needs to ensure these employees what good customer service means.
