Staff and surrounding were great, slightly disappointed with the food, didn’t taste as freshly cooked as expected.

my friend and I enjoyed a delicious lunch. we had fish chips and fishcakes and salad both were pleasant. the waitress was friendly and professional.

It was our second visit and it didn’t disappoint. Food was spot on ni had the nourish nowl which was fresh and so tasty. Service was great with a smile even though they were busy

Unfortunately, our roast dinner was not hot, but they were quickly replaced by 2 others. it should not have happened, so the whole culinary experience was disappointing. I will not go back.

so well organized, eating was fabulous. a great stay for us 3 sisters and our 3 daughters, apologise for every loud laugh. was a special occasion. you all came. was saffy who served us, she was just perfect. Thank you for her. Ver carta

I was a bit comprehensible to book a second visit within three weeks as my first experience was me from the return (the eating and service was terrible). my second visit was based on the fact that everything was immensely improved.

Looked forward to eating sunday lunch at this gastro pub, we were told there was a 40 minute wait for food which was ok for us but when it arrived the trio of meats was a duo as they had run out of chicken. If we had been told this before it arrived at the table we would have chosen something else. There was no bacon wrapped stuffing or horseradish sauce or bread sauce or mustard or ketchup (not that we wanted that The food could have been hotter. The bottomless gravy took an age to arrive after asking twice, the Yorkshire pudding was very dry without this. The one real ale ran out. The waitress was lovely but unfortunately had to deal with lots of complaints. Shame on you Mitchell and Butle...

Manager owner whoever she was needs to stay back of house! We should have known it wasnt going to be great when the bottle of wine was plonked on the table, the lid still on we had to pour the first glass ourselves. We Had the shared Camembert to start that came out cold, with burnt toast no chutney! Whilst we were still eating realising the above on the starter our mains arrived. Mouth full having to make space for the mains beef fillet salad which was a starter size at 13 Was not fillet but more Minute steak was put down in front of us while we balanced side plates and had to re-use cheese covered cutlery. Before we could say anything thing the manager owner who ever she was was gone! Neve... Ver carta
