The food at this restaurant was incredible. It was the best roast dinner I've ever had in a pub, with a home cooked quality. The service was excellent and very friendly. I can't rate it highly enough.

We booked here for a birthday dinner prior to going to the Harry Potter tour. Thank god we booked as it was packed out. But the food was sensational. Some of the best food I have ever had in a pub. Great price as well.

Fish Friday lunch with family. The car park was nearly full when we arrived, so we knew it would be good. The kitchen was under a bit of pressure, but our food arrived hot and was worth the wait. The staff were brilliant: 10/10! We will be back. Plenty of foot paths connecting the pub, so it 's ideal for ramblers with empty bellies.

Absolutely appalling service firstly they couldn’t find me a table that I had booked a week ago then we waited for fifteen minutes and was not even asked if we wanted a drink in this time another customer a friend of the bar maid was seated next to me and enjoying his nice cold pint to which we decided to get up and leave I would never go there again or recommend it to anyone appalling service very cramped and dirty premises

It took me a while to post this review, but a couple of weekends ago I took my daughters to this restaurant for Sunday lunch. It was excellent, just excellent. The food and service were great, and the plates were filled with delicious home-cooked food. We were so full that we ended up taking our leftovers home in one of their takeaway containers (and it wasn't wasted). This is a must-try place for everyone, especially families. I will definitely be returning soon. PS: They also serve a nice pint of Tring Brewery's Side Pocket. Ver carta
