the best place I've eaten for a long time. large seafood menu and grill meat menu. highly recommended. nice staff. its clean deck and the products they serve is excellent.

An absolutely awesome Father's day lunch. The food was delicious with plenty of choice. The staff and service were perfect for the occasion. I would definitely recommend this lovely country pub.

The Royal Oak is a fantastic pub with an excellent selection of food. Be prepared to spend a little extra, but it's definitely worth it. I had a burger, and it was the best I've ever had, paired perfectly with chips that were cooked to perfection.

Woeful vegetarian options. Half a roast cauliflower on its own as a main dish, no sauce, no accompaniments for £16 and I can make a better risotto in the back of a van, peas and carrots may as well have come from a freezer bag. Starters and dessert were great but wouldn't rush back.

We ordered the fish plate for two, and it was fantastic. It was beautifully presented and cooked to perfection. The garden setting is lovely, making it a great spot to enjoy a beer while watching the sailplanes gliding by nearby (there's a landing strip close by, and they make hardly any noise). Ver carta

If you're looking for good pub-grub, then you're in the wrong place. The Royal Oak is much much more than that. The chef's from Sicily and boy can he cook. This was our second visit and we can't wait to go back. Hopefully when the weather is a little better, so we can dine alfresco in the lovely gardens. Bella!

We discovered this restaurant unexpectedly while searching for a nice place to have dinner, and it turned out to be fantastic! Everything was excellent: the wine quality was top-notch, the chef is exceptional, and the staff and owners are incredibly friendly. The service was outstanding! We will definitely be back soon!

after an amazing meal to drive home. we thought here after a day for the vatertag, hoping that they had a free table and we were in luck. a so cozy, wonderful pub with many Schnuggler spots for the private sphere. the menu had a good choice, eating was delicious and so beautiful presented. the staff was so friendly. we will return!
