Just came in for a meal with the family. I had the tikka curry and it was very tasty. All the family were very impressed with their food too! Very good service, staff polite and helpful. Definitely will be coming back

This is a fantastic pub, and my visit today was exceptional. I enjoyed a wonderful meal that was expertly prepared using high-quality ingredients, accompanied by terrific service. With the 40% discount today, the food tasted even better!

Nice atmosphere. Sunday roast could be improved. The veg was too hard and the beef was rather thick and some was a bit gristly. Would much prefer real potatoes. I know it's for quickness but that little bit of extra time to peel potatoes would be so much better.

Have been a few times here but went Sunday service was slow and food not as it usually is. Small portions. Pasta was clearly just out the microwave n there was more dish then pasta. The chicken burger was so extremely dry. The posh fish n chips was nice but quite greasy very disappointed

A wonderful pub offering a fantastic selection of drinks and food. The refurbishment looks amazing. It's delightful to see a lively pub filled with a great atmosphere and friendly staff. The outdoor space is perfect for enjoying the nice weather, whether you're with family, a partner, or friends. I'll be returning tomorrow for drinks with friends, and I'm planning to come back next week with my family for a meal. Ver carta

I came to the Royal Oak for my friends birthday meal in early June. We had a table of 8 and the staff were so accommodating with arranging tables and even helped decorate the area! Service was extremely fast and everyone was super helpful when ordering food and drinks. Food was delicious and great value! We had a fabulous time and will definitely be returning more regularly, highly recommend! Great night, thank you to Claire and the team

Popped in for an unplanned weekday lunch, food was very good, ham, egg chips and the buttermilk crisp chicken burger. The staff were very pleasant and quick to serve us (after we had to remind them that we’d also ordered a pudding (so they’d been a little slow to take our main plates away). It was quiet when we went so it suited us, not so sure how service is when they’re busy ? The lady bringing our food was very friendly chatty which always makes you feel comfortable so we didn’t at all mind the slight delay. Would drop by again for sure.

I had a roast at the Royal Oak yesterday and after hearing a customer at the bar being quite rude towards the staff about hers I have to say my roast was amazing. I’ve had roast dinners there before which were nice but since the new menu they’re even better and I couldn’t fault it! Will definitely return for another soon. The staff were very understanding to the other customer I must say and offered her a replacement meal and complimentary drinks with no issues at all and I have always found staff to be very helpful and friendly and always strive to ensure customers have a good experience. Great new menu, great food, pub looks amazing since the refurb and can’t fault the staff or service. Ju... Ver carta
