"It is clear that the staff really care about this tea room. They are very welcoming in an unobtrusive way and although they were busy, we had great and friendly service. The sign says that they always have gluten free cake and I had a choice, which is unheard of. They also have a full range of GF sandwiches and jacket potatoes. My partner really enjoyed his brie and bacon panini.It was well arranged, with full COVID measures in place and very clean and uncluttered. I felt very comfortable and safe.We would happily make a detour to go back and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it. P.S. Try the blueberry panna cotta ice cream or get there early before the orange jaffa ice cream runs out."

"We just has Sunday dinner which we booked only for me and my husband was very disappointed waited 45 mins when the roast Beef came we had no potatoes no roast or mash had to ask for potatoes was given 3 new potatoes each very disappointed the beef was tough we had a Steak pie meal here in the Week it was superb we live locally in Kirbymoorside and will not return even for a drink they should have made us aware no Roast or Mash we wasn't asked if everything was OK I did tell him at the bar we wasn't happy."

"We were staying in Hutton Le hole for a few days and 7 of us Went for a family meal. Sat in garden as had a little dog with us but didn’t mind cos was a lovely evening and garden was busy with other customers so lovely atmosphere. The food was absolutely fabulous and value for money. Wish we had found this place sooner and not our last night. This is definitely the best pub around and well worth a trip out Food drinks: I had the seafood salad which was lovely and fresh. Others had lamb pie which said was lovely and tender. Steak and ale pie and fish pie and every plate was empty by the end."

"2 older members of my family where on holiday in the area they walked 2 miles to come for a Sunday dinner at this pub the staff where very rude and says they could not have a big table as there is only 2 of them and there was no small tables available this is disgusting when they walked 2 mile just to visit Service: 1 Location: 3"

"We went for a Saturday night meal here and really enjoyed it. Large carpark at the back, free for patrons. On a cool, damp September evening it wasn't too busy. The food was a bit pricey at around £17 for a main but we thoroughly enjoyed our meals. The staff couldn't be more helpful and the atmosphere was cosy. My daughter and husband had desserts and they were beautiful, I had to sample them! Sticky toffee pudding was lovely. Light and treackly. We would go back."
