I stopped by for a Sunday lunch after visiting the Coalport China Museum, and I’m so glad I did. The Sunday roast was fantastic—cooked to perfection and beautifully presented. We will definitely return the next time we’re in the area. Service: 5, Location: 5.

It says bed breakfast outside, it says it on the pictures on booking websites, and in the text describing the property, they have their own restaurant, but the owners decided to stop serving breakfasts and we only found this out when we checked-in. Went to the rally at weston park and stayed close by. The place took a while to get to hense 3* i gave it was about 1 mile off the main road....... food wise 5* is an insult tbh more like 20/10 we have never had a meal so full on like this before was fantastic i had a mixed grill and it was massive. My wife had hunters chicken ..... both meals well book yourselves . Next year we will do it again .......thankyou for fitting us in at short notice........well done shakespear we will be back

I stayed here during a business trip and on the day of the day before checking in received an email explaining the pub was closed and details for accessing a lock box to retrieve the keys to my room. The next day the pub was also closed so I couldn't get breakfast or a coffee. This was not explained prior to booking and if it was I would have stayed somewhere else. The room was clean and tidy but there is a damp smell to the room which is masked by an automatic air freshener that dispenses perfume every 30 mins. This also makes it impossible to sleep. I would not stay here again based on the current setup.

This was our first and probably our last visit to this place. The staff were friendly and welcoming and it is obviously very popular with local people. However, the meals we ordered were very disappointing. We both ordered the 'Sizzlers ' meals. My husband 's order when it came out was wrong, and they gladly exchanged it. We were disappointed with the amount of meat in the meal but there was just too much salt which overrode the flavours of the sauces. The chips were crisp but tasted very greasy, whist the rice was bland and not well cooked. Overall, I couldn 't really recommend this place based on this visit. Ver carta
