Great variety of options for every course, including 5 deserts. Menu has recently been updated. Found everything I had to be very tasty (had the burger and the treacle tart, friend had burger and tart tatin- see photos).

I am really picky about my frying and I don't think that was worth the money (13£. the pub itself is so beautiful and a great place for a drink. for walks I did not find the service great. *a plus but is that the yorkshire pudding was great!

beautiful pub with a separate vegan menu. I had the nutritious bowl that was amazing, but my friend had the burger he said was average. they usually have a vegan roast on Sunday, but unfortunately it was vegetarian yesterday. desserts were amazing. four vegan desserts with vegan ice and custard

Scottland's oldest pub in the year 1360! what a tasty bite after a long walk sits on arthurs. Luckily, a co-settler has advised us about this great pub in duddingston, which is the other side of arthurs seat. it was a very cozy warm pub and booked on Saturday afternoon to eat so that some beer and koks kept us for one or two hours.

excellent pub. I ordered the Morracan style cauliflower tart. the baked was delicious and the filling was so creamy that it simply melted in the mouth. to dessert I had the apple plums with soya cuschard. it was the perfect end. definitely make reservations. in the night we went there, there was a sign on the door that they could not accept any walking inmates.

was taken here and treated by very old and good friends and was looking forward to reading the menu online. I love this place! I wanted to go because it is Scottish oldest pub, but when I found out that it had old fashion turtles, I was even more enthusiastic to visit! to live after a year or in Edinburgh, I finally managed to. I and two friends drove along the weekend and played turtles before I enjoy dinner. skittles were so much, we had the room for ourselves, who made it more pleasant and we all talked how great it would be for a group of people to rent the room for an evening. as the oldest pub in Scotland I had no high hopes for eating because I thought it was pretty gimmicky. If there was zero it would be there. I used to go to this pub for both drinks and meals regularly never again. The last 3 visits have shown just what Mitchell Butler can do to destroy a once great establishment. The most recent visit last week was a disgrace; staff forgot to direct us to a table it took a second reminder.We were severed incorrect drinks when our order of drinks eventually arrived. Our orders for starters and mains taken, 6 off items requested off the menu were unavailable and there were no fish on offer. Starters were basic pub quality at restaurant prices. I guess they have an extensive and separate vegan menu with a dozen choices of appetizers, netzens and desserts. the burger was fantastic — the texture was so realistic but vegan tasty. the tweeted was also very tasty, but it did not look like a standard tweeper with all toppings; still good. the coconut curry would have been perfect if it were not for the aubergine in miso sesame. the aromen contradicted each other. if the cook reads this, add the aubergine directly to the curry without other sauce.
