Had a really nice meal this afternoon in the ship inn , very good vegan Sunday lunch , extremely large fish and chips , children's meal was good and the cheese sandwich yummy , nice service , thank you. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3

Staying nearby on holiday. Have eaten here twice, once when it was busy as and again when very quiet. Staff polite and friendly, super service and delicious food. Actually witnessed a customer's large dog bite a member of staff (drawing blood), very calmly dealt with. Will return for sure.

After taking a stroll on the beach, we decided to stop for a quick sherbet. There was a great selection of local ales, and the service was very friendly. The restaurant is dog-friendly, which was a nice touch. We were warmly welcomed by both the staff and fellow patrons. We enjoyed some nachos in the beer garden while soaking up the evening sun. The atmosphere was fantastic, and we had a wonderful time.

Upon arrival, we received a warm welcome and had plenty of tables to choose from. We started with the Clawsome Fries, a sharable appetizer, and decided we’d order more if we felt like it. The fries were topped with melted cheddar, white crab meat, crème fraîche, chives, tiger prawns, sour cream, crispy onions, and jalapeños – what an explosion of flavors! The portion was enormous and offered fantastic value; we were so satisfied that we only managed a sandwich each for dinner. The value, taste, and the menu full of intriguing options have left me eager to return and try more dishes!
