Not even visited and the service is awful. Try to book and no answer to emails or phone and landlady just rude. Steer clear!!

My wife and I had beef lasagne, garlic bread and mixed salad. Very generous portions of lasagne which were very tasty. Only minor downside we had to wait half an hour for food after placing order, despite pub not being that busy.

Brilliant local pub that offers a warm welcome to both dogs and thier humans. Food was brillaint the chef is a hidden gem the food was outstanding all freshly prepared and good quality. The local beers on tap are all well kept and nothing was too much trouble to the team. Ver carta

While visiting friends in Bewdley in the afternoon, we were on the hunt for a local spot to enjoy a Sunday carvery. The Ship met all of our criteria, offering a delicious meal with a selection of six meats to choose from. We both opted for turkey and ham and were pleased with our choices. The vegetables were all cooked perfectly. We highly recommend this restaurant.

My family and I visited this restaurant in January to see relatives in the area. Katsina and her team took care of all our needs from the moment we arrived until the end of our stay. They were very polite and professional, ensuring that we had a wonderful experience. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a fantastic stay. We tried a variety of dishes from their menu, but the rib eye steak and carvery were particularly outstanding. The steak was the best I have had to date. The service was impeccable - 10/10.

This pub is in a beautiful location on the edge of the River Severn. On a nice day make sure you grab a drink on waters edge overlooking the river. The thing that really stood out for me here was the chips. They were probably the best chips I've ever had in a pub, crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside. The rest of the menu is pretty good, varied and not overly expensive. There is also a good range of ales and some good ciders. And the final bonus is right behind the pub is the Severn Valley Railway, a step footpath takes you there in about a minute. Ver carta

The food here was excellent with large portion sizes and prices are very reasonable. We especially enjoyed the home made coleslaw! If you order the large fish and chips, make sure you 're hungry as it 's huge! The staff here were very welcoming and friendly and the pub is dog friendly too. . There was a little 'blip ' with our order which meant 2 of our party had to wait longer than the rest of us for their meals. However, the waitress apologised for the error and the delay. She then offered to take some money off our bill to compensate so this didn 't spoil our evening whatsoever. We would definitely eat here again if we were to return to this area.

WOW!! We have just (today) returned from a weekend in this wonderful pub/hotel. Our friends booked this as a gift as they have been before. This has to be one of these gifts ever. Right!!! Food , Michelin star worthy, place , views to die for right on the river, staff ALL of them made our weekend.Rooms, comfortable , waking to birdsong beautiful heavenly. We seriously can’t wait to go back I have never felt so relaxed. To top it all we walked up behind the hotel to find we could go on an old steam train. The child in me and my friends came to play. I visited the SVR for the first time yesterday and decided to stop for lunch at The Ship Inn, which was conveniently located along the route. I made a reservation ahead of time due to it being a Bank Holiday weekend. The pub has a great view of the Severn, although it is accessible via a short steep path from the station. I noticed that the area in front of the pub was fenced off for exterior work, which was explained to me by the staff as ongoing repairs from a fire last year that had damaged the building. Despite this, the interior of the pub was impressive and well-furnished, including the newly refurbished bathrooms. I originally planned to order from the menu, but the Sunday carvery was... Ver carta
