"Well what can I say ! We have just left the Rockinghams after celebrating my husbands surprise 60th lunch time gathering in a side room. The planning with Miami, Hannah and Jake was really professional and they were all very accommodating ensuring everything was just right for us. The atmosphere and layout of the room and food were amazing. The whole event exceeded our expectations and was just perfect. All the guests commented on how lovely the setting was and the food was superb. Our daughter had a separate plate of vegetarian food set aside for her which was very thoughtful and again superb. Everything was home made and beautiful. Thank you chef Rob great job. We could not have asked for more. A perfect place for a celebration with personal service. Thoroughly recommend. "This place is fantastic! Great service, good portions and the food is just amazing whether you order a 3 meat roast or a burger it's fresh and home cooked. The desserts are to die for especially the amazing cheesecakes. I've currently munched through mixed Berry, oreo and strawberry and each one has been out of this world delicious. So happy this place is so local to us!"

"This pub is exceptionally welcoming and congenial, permitting us to park our camper in their car park. There's a delightful dog walk just across the road. Their evening selection of beer and cider is spot on, and the food is simply splendid. We tried both the pie and curry, and each was faultless and delectable. It's also a fantastic place for dogs. Both the staff and the locals are welcoming, making everyone feel thoroughly at home."

"Excellent food and service We came in yesterday for the first time in several years but we were pleasantly surprised by how much the standards of both the food and staff had improved. We were greeted at the bar by the brilliant Tom who took us to a table and explained what was and wasn't available to order, as well as how ordering and the like worked as everywhere is different nowadays. We ordered our food and drinks and despite it being a little bit busy, everything was out quickly. Once the food came it was delightful and whilst it was so tasty we didn't quite have room for a pudding. Tom was very helpful and attentive all throughout our visit and we will definitely be back again soon."

"We have been regular visitors to this pub for years and sorry to say things have gone downhill recently. Only one real ale bitter available today apart from a dark winter ale which was not to our taste. The menu has been well and truly shortened, no baguettes or ciabattas, no omelettes and the main courses are more expensive. I realise prices have gone up, I only have to look at my weekly shopping bill to see this. But here prices have gone up but quality of meals has gone down. So sad we used to love this pub but it seems like no one cares any more about the quality of the food and real ales."
