"Frequent take out delivery from SG, today I decided we would eat in (sorry Sam the delivery man), beautifully clean restaurant, music in the background suited us, service was top notch, Laura advised us well and we numbed down on every bit of the “tender pieces of chicken. Chilli paneer is the best in the area for sure. North Indian Garlic Chilli Chicken was to die for and chicken jalfrezi was cooked to perfection. Mack Collie wine was absolutely lovely and they now do Thatchers Gold which suited my other half. Thanks guys, here’s a Scottish phrase from us to you …. LANG MAY YER LUM REEK ….. google it, BW, Moira Gary."

Been here many times now and the food service are always excellent. This time went above and beyond as called to say that were very busy around my booked time and could come later or sooner. I said was happy to wait be was lovely to be given option before turning up. Wish more places gave this level of service

We visited on a Friday evening, hadn’t booked, but were welcome into this deluge restaurant. Service was excellent, and the meals were full of flavour and spice. I had the Chicken Chattinad, which was hotter than expected but oh so nice. My wife had Lamb Biryani, succulent lamb and very well flavoured. Great restaurant, great food, great service

Excellent food served in a tucked away rural location. We travelled over 25 miles from our “anniversary base” near Yeovil as the reviews were so good. Food did not disappoint. Best keema naan I have ever had, curry dishes were well flavoured and portion sizes were generous. If it wasn’t a 220 mile round trip from my home it would be my “local” for sure! Parking is a bit challenging as there is none at the rear or immediately adjacent to the property on a main road.

We had a night stopover at Bridgwater Travel Lodge on the drive from Yorkshire to Cornwall . We found Spice Gallery on an internet search when looking for an alternative to the ‘pub grub’ that most places seemed to offer. The food was excellent, freshly cooked, tasty and piping hot and the welcome from the staff equally warm and friendly. Our only comment would be that the seasoning could have been stronger; the mildly flavoured Saag Chicken was a little too bland. Still a very good experience and we’d visit Spice Gallery again if we come to this area again

We pot-lucked this restaurant as staying near by. Good website with online booking and menus. The staff were very welcoming, accommodating and attentive without being too fussy. We were able to take our time and relax and catch up in a relaxed atmosphere. The food was superb. The chef clearly know thier onions and the 3 main dishes were as described, aromatic, balanced flavours, very well presented and delicious. Highly recommend this restaurant. Would even consider making a detour here with family if travelling the M5. I don't often give 5 stars as I hope it will be even better next time.

"Been wanting to try this ‘alternative’ pub for a while. Large car park with plenty of space, no steps or slopes into the bar. Access for buggies, wheelchairs etc should be okay, my mother walks with the aid of a frame and has no issues. Inside the decor is certainly alternative but in a great way, loved it! Plenty to look at, keep you entertained and talk about as you wait for your food or just pass the time. Staff were friendly and welcoming, there was just one guy running the bar, taking food orders and bringing food out; I thought he needed a helper or coworker really. There is a decent bar area with seating or there is more ‘restaurant’ style seating further back beyond the bar. We chose to sit in the bar area seating which is a mixture of booth and chairs. Dogs are allowed in which is great, there is free Wi-Fi which is good as my mobile signal was very poor. The menu is standard pub food, quite a bit of choice and plenty of options for gluten free. I chose to have the fillet steak cooked medium, I had a starter of garlic bread but chose for it all to come out together. Mother had beef brisket loaded fries, the portion was massive so I had to help her finish it. The steak was perfectly cooked, I chose to have the peppercorn sauce; this was a bit watery and bland. The steak comes with chunky chips, peas, mushrooms, tomatoes and onion rings. For dessert I had the nutty apple crumble with ice cream, it was okay. Overall this is a great venue with acceptable food, friendly staff and awesome decor that will keep you talking and looking all night. Based on this experience I would visit again."
