"If you want to feel transported to 1970s decor, this is the place to go. I think they 'd get more customers by hiring a professional designer to update the ambiance. Food was ok, but could have used something special that would likely come from hiring or consulting a modern professional chef. The fried haddock had a pleasant coating, so that should be kept. The french fries seemed to be from frozen, not fresh. The sampling of many types of salad with the grilled chicken was nice, but better seasoning of the chicken would have been nice. This is a tourist town, so they really ought to have on hand condiments (like hot chilli pepper sauce) that are standard in other countries. The Wi-Fi didn 't work, and staff said it was always terrible on the rare occasions when it did work. It was obvious that the owners failed to use a competent IT network professional, because neither their network name nor password were customized to be human friendly (just the garbled string of numbers and letters that the internet provider gives as a default). Bottom line: this place CLEARLY would benefit from the owners looking around at their nearly empty restaurant and saying to themselves, hmmm, perhaps we might make a lot more money in the long run by paying a short-term professional restaurant business consultant to bring us into the 21st century now. Heck, the owners should toss themselves in as a candidate for the reality show Restaurant Makeover."

Food exceptional, quality, flavour, portion size and reasonable prices. Relaxing dinning environment, definitely a go to in Portrush!

Overpriced, the food was cheap frozen low quality and cooked badly, restaurant reasonably clean and staff nice but inexperienced, nicest part of the meal was my drink which was a coke, served in a can

Over priced rubbish. 14 Sterling for a piece of greasy battered cod, and ripped off for 4pounds for a small bowl of supermarket frozen chips. Ridiculous. Bluebottles flying around. Not a fussy eater but this is one to avoid.

A little nostalgic but clean environment, very friendly staff, average food, nothing extremely exceptional but tasty. Bathrooms dated but large and clean. If you want to spend a quiet evening, without the hustle and bustle, come here. Ver carta

The food at this restaurant is expensive and you have to buy sides separately. The salad was bad, and when we mentioned it to the staff, they did not apologize or offer to replace it. The service was bad, and it's no surprise there were only two other people in the restaurant. I definitely would not recommend this place.

I ordered the Rump Steak Special and found the meat to be tough. The chips and onion rings were clearly frozen. However, I did enjoy the pepper sauce, although the gravy was disappointing. I was initially overcharged for the house white wine, but the mistake was corrected after I questioned the bill. The restaurant itself is beautiful, but it could greatly improve by paying attention to details rather than focusing solely on profits. I hope they make changes for the better, but I personally won't be returning.

My husband and I went to Spinnaker’s yesterday..Lovely little cafe/ restaurant, very clean and friendly staff.. Our food was good, only complaint was that they serve frozen chips.. Also I was surprised to find that my cod with mushy peas did not include chips in the price.. I have never been to a restaurant/cafe where a fish with peas doesn’t come with chips..I did question the bill as it seemed quite expensive.. In total a cod and chips with peas costs £18.50, very expensive for a little cafe..hence the three stars. Ver carta

Food is very over priced, with every main meal the sides are charged separately. The food is not freshly made its all frozen food. The food that was freshly prepared was the salad on the side of the plate which was a half of a slice of tomato 1 small wee slice of red onion and 2 pieces of lettuce. When our drinks arrived we got the kids a jug of juice and after 10 minutes we had to ask for glasses so the kids could get to drink with their meal.we also had to ask for cutlery to eat the food with after it had been served. Service was not great will not be back to this place need to have a look at their prices

Avoid. Waiting staff looked like they were in a trance. Didn 't know answers to simple questions about the food. Food itself was just ok. Overpriced would be a compliment to them. £10.95 for a burger with a skim of cheese would 've been fine if I hadn 't have to pay another £4.95 for 'Garlic Fries ' which were basically frozen potato cubes you buy from Iceland with a dollop of garlic butter over them. In all,we ordered a fish special, burger with cheese, chicken burger with bacon and cheese and chicken goujons. The latter 3 didnt come with fries! Bit strange. Started off by bringing us 2 cheseburgers. Sent one back and corrected them as per order. Then brought us 2 fish specials. Again, sent...

"Visited lost Found in Portstewart last Friday afternoon for some lunch. Checked the outdoor menu which stated food served until 3.30pm. Went ahead on inside. Started to briefly read the menu at the till as aware from previous visits that you order on arrival yourself at the counter. Was told by the female counter staff that we had 8 minutes to place our order and to take the menus to the table. We did this. Then when we said excuse me to the same member of staff, from our table, that we’d like to order, we were told we had to come back to the till. This made no sense whatsoever. From the moment we stepped in and were told that we had 8 minutes to order should have been the red flag I guess. Friday afternoon, not long till closing, they just didn’t want to be bothered prepping two rounds of food, The two members of staff in the premises had the worst attitude and no ounce of personality to be in the role that they are in. Every thing seemed to be a complete bother. May I also add, the food was very skimp, re portion sizes plus they seem to care more about the presentation than the food itself re the logo branded paper underneath the food. Try attempting to cut sourdough bread on this, not easy unless you want a mouthful of paper. Then when it comes to hot drinks, no sugar or milk provided. Yet again had to approach the till and ask for these to be provided with milk in a paper cup yet another couple had a glass jug of milk on their table (less dishes to wash I guess) and no white sugar at all, had to make do with brown sugar for tea. When asked for refills of hot water we were given a half full glass of this and then when asked for it to be filled up, yet again a whole botheration. Oh and don’t even get me started on the toilet facilities. Dingy to say the least. The premises in portstewart should never have reopened when it did as Lost and Found, previous owner/cafe was far more superior in all ways. Will not be back"
