"This lovely establishment is not one to miss out on! The Spotted Dog has recently reopened, having the chance to meet the new owner Neil whilst we was dining was a great experience to speak to him and hear his visions with where to take this quirky country pub. The interior is decorated spot on to fit the style and feel, making it warm and inviting. The ambience was met with music suitably tailored to the guests. Me and my partner called last minute hoping for a Sunday roast and were pleasantly surprised when they was more than happy to accommodate us in the kitchen, even though they'd just shut the kitchen great touch! (Thank you again! . Choosing the sharing platter Sunday roast for 2 which came with all the meats and trimmings was a great option for us which we thoroughly enjoyed! We don't see this option at many pubs! The food was delicious and we couldn't fault our meal or the service we received. This was our first visit and as a local spot to us we will certainly be back in the future"

Everything was marvellous! My son said it was the best roast dinner he had eaten! ... that's saying something as I thought mine was his favourite!

That was the best meal I've had in a long time. The quality of the food was exceptional and absolutely delicious. The staff was attentive and friendly, adding to the wonderful experience. I can’t wait to come back!

February 10, 2018 - What a delightful experience! The food was delicious and beautifully presented, and the prices on the menu were quite reasonable. The staff was courteous and friendly, making us feel welcome. The restaurant itself was tastefully decorated, very clean, and uncluttered.

We've always loved this place since we discovered it while cycling, and the friendly drinks they offered us, even when they were closed, left a lasting impression. They made my 30th birthday even more special today—the food was amazing, and the service was top-notch. I can't thank them enough! This is a must-visit restaurant!
