I attended a private event at The Stag for the first time. The outdoor area was lovely, spacious, and included a small play area for children, which kept them entertained. Although I didn't eat there, the staff provided excellent service while I was getting drinks. The restroom facilities were clean and had a pleasant smell. Overall, I would rate the service as 4 and the atmosphere also as a 4.

The food we enjoyed was delicious and fairly priced! Three of us had steak and chips, while one ordered chicken legs with chips. All the portions were generous, and the chicken was particularly filling, with just the right amount of spicy kick to it. For dessert, we had sticky toffee ginger pudding. Although it wasn’t your typical sticky toffee pudding, the large sponge was still very tasty and quite enjoyable. My only real critique would be the small serving of custard or ice cream that accompanied the dessert. I definitely need to remember to take photos next time! Ver carta
