Staithe Willow - Carta

We were saddened to hear that this bistro will be closing at the end of November 2023. It will be greatly missed by us, as well as by local residents and tourists.

Both breakfasts cooked freshly, tasty quality meat and plenty to eat. Cheesecake and Carrot cake delicious. Fast friendly service and a great restaurant with beautiful views.

We recently visited this tea room and were blown away by the experience. The staff were friendly and helpful, the atmosphere was excellent, and the menu offered a variety of options to suit every taste. The service was prompt and the food was served piping hot. Ver carta

Located by the river in the charming town of Horning, this cafe offers excellent coffee and cake with friendly service. The outdoor seating area is dog-friendly, though it is unclear if this applies to the indoor seating as well. The cafe is very popular and highly recommended.

Stopped here for breakfast with my family on 07/10/23, we had a very friendly welcome to the cosy cafe. we all had the cooked breakfast which was really good with perfectly poached eggs. Really good value for the quality of the food. We dont expect to be back for a quite a while but will certainly head here if we do.

The first thing that strikes you is the location, then as you walk through the door the warmth of the welcome and the desire to please every customer. Nothing about this place is average, every aspect was excellent including the best full English we have ever had (days later we were still talking about it) All locally sourced and quality ingredients perfectly cooked and served with a smile. We were anticipating hot chocolate, but unfortunately the delivery had not arrived. We did have coffee and cakes. The coffee and walnut cake was just the best. We are on holiday and this was the best cake all week. Service was good and the owner was very pleasant to talk to. Nice place, right on the water. If you park in the Euro car park take some coins as the signal dropping out makes it difficult or impossible to pay by card.

What a find, everything so spot on!!, we cannot faut it,nothing was too much trouble for the host and all the staff were lovely and friendly, on whatcwas a very ht day! We stumbled upo this place by chance during a visit to Horning, we were made to feel special and the food was divine fresh homemade and vert tasty , reasonably priced too!! It made out day out perfect, the icing on the cake. Well done staith n willow we will definately be back Ps the biscoff cheesecake was To die for !!! A lovely cold beer too!!

Being local and retired, I try most places from Coltishall to Gorleston, Reedham to Wroxham, on a regular basis. I come here every Thursday for breakfast. Often on other days, when my wife can join me, we have lunch together. Friends have joined us on yet other occasions. We have frequented State and Willow for around two years. The reason is, we look for quality food, quality service and reasonable prices. Staithe and Willow never fail. The owners bend over backwards to accommodate everyones needs. The charm of the place and the staff, invigorates us every time. Whether its Eggs Benedict, English Breakfast, Fish and chips or Sunday roast, sat inside the quaint cottage or outside in the pret...
